BIOGRAPHY:
My profession as a cardiologist gives me the privilege of caring for patients with heart disease. Although I treat adult patients with all forms of heart disease, I have a particular interest in congestive heart failure and pulmonary hypertension. I also spend a large portion of my time interpreting cardiac imaging tests that help evaluate the structure and function of the heart. I strongly believe that a physician should be a teacher. I make it a priority to educate my patients about their medical concerns to the best of my ability. The decision to accept various treatments for a disease is often complicated and I believe it is important to form a partnership with my patients to best achieve this. Forming and maintaining these enduring partnerships with my patients has been the most rewarding aspect of my career.
