BIOGRAPHY:
For many people, the heart is more than a pumping chamber. As a cardiologist, I see patients with a variety of cardiovascular conditions. I find taking care of patients with acute cardiac disease to be very satisfying. From a therapeutic point of view, lifestyle and medical preventive interventions are among the most effective means of managing cardiovascular diseases. It is hard to appreciate the suffering of avoided events. I enjoy helping my patients understand the value of complex medical interventions. I strongly believe that close cooperation between a patient and physician assures the best possible quality of life decades later.
