Friends and Family CPR

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is an important first-aid skill to know, should you ever need to help an infant or young child who is choking or has stopped breathing. This skill may mean the difference between a simple incident and a tragedy in the following situations:
• choking
• near drowning
• smoke inhalation
• obstruction of the air passage from asthma or other illness.

Certified CPR instructors demonstrate the special resuscitation methods needed to aid infants and children under age eight. Class size is limited to allow individual attention for participants during practice sessions. Child care is not provided.

If you choose to take this class at St. Francis Regional Medical Center, you will also receive adult CPR instructions during the class.

Please note: This class does not provide CPR certification.
If you are interested in CPR, AED (automatic external defibrillator) and first aid certification, please register for the class Pediatric CPR, AED & First Aid at Buffalo Hospital.

Class can be taken any time before or after the birth of your baby.
