Prenatal Yoga

 

Cost: $50.00 for 6-week session.

Dates: Wednesdays, Oct. 24th - Nov. 28th

Time: 5:00-6:00 PM

Location: St. Francis Regional Medical Center - Conference Center (park in the Orange lot and enter through the North Entrance).

Note: Please bring your own yoga mat. We will provide bolsters, blocks and straps. Make sure to check with your physician to make sure prenatal yoga is right for you and your baby. 

Your body goes through many changes during pregnancy, which can lead to mental and physical stress. One way to help maintain a healthy mind and body during this special time in your life is prenatal yoga.

In order to increase strength and flexibility, prenatal yoga focuses on poses designed for pregnant women. It also helps pregnant women develop proper breathing and relaxation techniques for an easier and more comfortable labor.

About the Instructor:

Michelle Enderson has been teaching Prenatal Yoga for three years, and has her 200 YT certification through Yoga Alliance, with specific certification in Prenatal Yoga.  She currently works as the Wellness Coordinator for St Francis Regional Medical Center, teaching resilience, breathing, relaxation and yoga to staff.  She is a mother of three and enjoys being outdoors!
