Note:
As a general obstetrician and gynecologist, I have the pleasure of providing care to women from adolescence to menopause. This includes preventive services, contraception and preconception counseling, basic infertility, high and low risk pregnancy care, treatment of abnormal menstrual cycles, and menopausal therapies. My practice style is conservative. When appropriate, I focus on the use of medications and minimally invasive procedures, such as IUDs, implants, hysteroscopy, endometrial ablations, or laparoscopy as first line treatment options.
I believe strongly in the value of education and prevention. I feel it is important to listen to each individual’s story, then guide and empower them with available knowledge and treatment options. I partner with patients to create the best care plan for their individual circumstances and beliefs. I enjoy what I call the science and “sleuthing” of medicine, but truly thrive in the long-term relationships I have been able to develop with my patients over time.
